Maniche Closer to Inter

According to Italian daily newspaper 'Corriere dello Sport', Atletico Madrid manager Javier Aguirre is furious with Maniche, and has decided to freeze him completely out of the team.

For this reason, the Portuguese midfielder told his agent to start looking for a new team in order to move away from Madrid in January and to be able to play regularly ahead of the European Championships.

So far only Tottenham have made an official bid for the player and Maniche has not given them an answer as of yet - this is apparently because his dream team would be Inter.

The Nerazzurri are in fact considering the possibility of signing Maniche, but they are also weighing up the options of other players and need more time.

The clock is ticking and therefore the Portuguese midfielder is hoping that Inter come up with a bid as soon as possible. Only with a swift move will he not lose the possibility of moving away from his current club during this transfer window.
