Arsenal Miss Out On ’Giovinco' Juventus

Reports in Italian press suggest that Sebastian Giovinco has finally agreed a new deal with Juventus and as such Arsenal have missed out on the talented attacking midfielder. The Italy U-21 international had earlier this week looked uncertain of his immediate future with the Serie A giants, thus alerting the Gunners, who were reported to have initiated talks with the player’s agent.

However, it has now been claimed that there are no more differences between the Giovinco camp, who wanted higher wages for the player, and the Turin-based club and a new contract is up for the signing.

It has also been reported that had Giovinco’s representative, Claudio Pasqualin, not been involved in a bicycle accident, the contract would have been signed few days ago.
