The talented forward has been the subject of much transfer speculation in recent weeks, with a Macedonian newspaper quoting him as saying that he is desperate for a move to the Premiership.Other newspapers have also consistently linked him with a transfer to long-term admirers Bayern Munich.
“At this moment I am thinking only about Lazio,” said Pandev.
“I have not talked to anyone and if there is anyone interested in me they must first talk to the club.
“My agent called me a few days ago while I was in Macedonia, but I know nothing of these supposed interviews.”
Lazio have had a simply disastrous 2007/08 season so far and languish in 14th position in Serie A, just four points above the relegation zone.
“Next year we will not make it into the Champions League, we hope to qualify for the UEFA Cup,” Pandev stated.
“However this year we can do well.”
Pandev has been one of Lazio’s few bright spots this season, scoring seven goals in Serie A, and four in the Champions League.
