Romanian superstar Mutu has been in superb form this season and has scored nine goals in just 14 games in Serie A.This has led to rumours that a number of top clubs were eyeing up a possible January swoop for the star, with AS Roma particularly said to be interested.
"Selling Mutu is absolutely not in our plans," declared Corvino to the Corriere dello Sport.
Another player who has been performing brilliantly this campaign is goalkeeper Sebastien Frey.
The Viola have the fourth best defensive record in Serie A largely down to a string of world-class performances from the Frenchman.
"Frey has a long deal and he will respect it," declared Corvino.
AC Milan are believed to be lining up a bid for Frey as a replacement for the disaster-prone Nelson Dida who is virtually certain to leave come the end of the season.
The Rossoneri have also been linked with Celtic’s outstanding Artur Boruc, as well as PSV Eindhoven’s Gomes.
