AC Milan have added another Brazilian onto their list of possible replacements for Nelson Dida – Palmeiras’ Diego Cavalieri.

The Rossoneri are certain to ditch Dida at the end of the season, following a disastrous campaign in the Italian fashion capital.

So far the favourites to replace Dida are Fiorentina’s Sebastien Frey and Celtic’s Artur Boruc, but other names associated are Roma’s Alexander Doni and PSV Eindhoven’s Gomes.

According to the Italian media, yet another Brazilian has now entered the mix in the form of Palmeiras custodian Diego Cavalieri.

The 25-year-old is very highly rated in his homeland, and was close to signing for Inter in 2005 before they opted for Julio Cesar instead.

Cavalieri has spent his entire career so far at Palmeiras, and also comes with the added bonus of possessing an Italian passport.

Meanwhile Milan are also being associated with Mexican shot-stopper Guillermo Ochoa.

The 22-year-old plays his football for Club America and has won 14 caps for his national side already, travelling to the 2006 World Cup in Germany.
